come this summer I am in need of changing my headgasket, so I want to change a few other things in the process because it is cheaper/easier. Here is what I am looking into doing:

Timing Belt any information in which companies to look at or stay away from, post up please

Headgasket Going with a stock one, I'll be ordering a gasket kit so I can change other ones as well seeing as it will be much easier

Injectors I want to upgrade them, now I have heard many things but I haven't gotten a straight forward answer for direct fitting on the DSM's, RB20DET, and RB26DETT. So If you have changed your injectors or know of injectors that you are certain will be a direct drop in replacement, post them up, with CC size of course.

Turbo I am looking into upgrading to a T25(S14) or a T28(S15) turbo, other then the hp difference, what other differences are there? which has more turbo lag? etc etc. Will I have to upgrade my fuel system with either one(been told that I have too with the T28, but I donno about the T25)? will they bolt straight onto my manifold? or will I have to modify them in someway?

FMIC I have it covered

Fuel Pump I'd be going with a walbro 255lph

FPR I read on a thread that a guy was going to get a Nismo FPR for a SR20det....will that work on my engine? or will I have to get one for a ca18det? and I believe it said that its on one of nico's sponsors site...

Also for the fuel system, my friend told me that if I upgrade the fuel pump and fpr that I don't need a boost controller(donno if I would be able to afford a electronic one...I'm a university student..), would I just be running the same boost as I am right now? as it stands I am running just shy of 1bar. Or do I have to get a boost controller?

fuel lines Other then getting them shipped from over seas, is there another way to get them?

Vacume hoses Other then getting them shipped from over seas, is there another way to get them?

Here's some pics of my car

thats a nice clean silvia youve got there! two tone is mighty sexy. ok, for the timing belt ive always just gotten one from the auto parts store. some people may tell you otherwise but ive never had a problem. rb26 and dsm injectors will work fine, i believe the rb26 uses 444's and the dsm's use 450's, so there will be little difference. both the s14 and s15 used t28's, but the s15 is a ball bearing unit. i would reccomend the s15 unless you get a good deal on a s14. both will bolt on fine, you might have to clock the compressor housing a bit (youll need large circlip pliers) but its not hard. youll run whatever boost the stock wastegate is set to, 7psi of .5bar i believe is standard with nissan's s-chassis. the nismo sr20 adjustable fpr will work fine. for vacuum and fuel lines just get them from the local auto parts store. standard jap sizing, shouldnt be hard to locate.

I'll try the auto parts store here but if they are able to get one it will be for the North American ca18de, I donno if that will work on the det.

I meant the T25 off the S13 sr20 sorry, whats the pros and cons in your opinion between the T28 and T25?

Basically the t28 has more boost/power potential than the SR t25 and is more expensive. With 444 injectors you're cheapest most efficient option would probably be to pick up a good used SR t25 and run 12-14 psi with a proper tune. Assuming that's the power range you're shooting for.

The CA18DE timing belt will work fine. You can also pick one up from your Nissan dealer if you want a OEM belt.

I'm looking to get around give or take 200rwhp. when I had my car dyno'd last year before I had it chipped and running really rich it was putting out 162hp and 169tq to the wheels

The SR t25 will work fine for you then. You should be able to find one for around $200 in good shape.

What modification(if any) has to be done to the T25 to bolt up to my stock manifold?

sr t25 wont need to be clocked or any changes.the t28 might need to be clocked, but mine fit just fine and everything lined up perfectly. the skyline 444cc or dsm 450cc will handle ur 200hp needs well. ive driven the sr with the stock turbo and its not much less of a feeling from the t28 so go with whichever u can find cheapest.

I have the cd player from my previous car and was wondering if the 240sx wiring harness would work for a silvia? or do I have to do something special?

I'll just hazard a guess and say they're the same, but I could be wrong...

Timing Belt usdm/canadian de works. just get a name brand one, or i run tomei

Headgasket stock is fine if your are not going crazy with mods. put in new headbolts, or do studs, they arecheap enough

Injectors they will both work, but are really only useful if you have a way to control them, such as a piggy back greddy or apexi unit

Turbo both will work. on your budget, s13 sr in good shape should be fine. you seem like you are already set on upgrading your fuel system, its a good idea FMIC I have it covered

Fuel Pump good

FPR sr regulator works fine

boost controller controls air flow. air and fuel work together, not the same. you will still need a controller if you want to turn up boost, other wise you will be running stock boost, with an upgraded fuel system

fuel lines its just rubber hose, go to the parts store.

Vacume hoses see above
