need a little help... cant decide

heres my perdiciment guys... i already know what wheels i want, they come in a VARIETY of backspacings. Right now its got 15x8" weld draglites with a 5.5" backspacing on the rear. With 255/50/15 drag radials...

im upgrading to 275/50/15 drag radials and buying a new set of the wheels because they are worn out and faded.

But im kinda stuck on offset... i can go from 5.5" to 4.5" BUT There will be a clearance issue... with stock steelies wearing the 275s it clears by about 3/4" of an inch...

heres some pictures... any help on offset decision would be great!

what can you do width wise? id say like a 9" wide with a 5.5 backspace (15x9 +12) would be good for the 275s, but i know diamond only does even widths, so itd jump from 8 to 10...but if you can do 9 id go that route
