Need a little bit of help

First and foremost, I got my manual transmission in and although i've owned my vert for a year and a half, all of a sudden registration was due and to my surprise my car is now Salvage titled. What a drag, now gotta do the damm light check and all my lights work except the reverse which I didnt connect because the write up just confused me. Im lucky I even got the car to start. For some reason I cant get rid of my engine light now though. So I need to know which is the reverse light sensor on the manual transmission, also does it engage once reverse gear is in? meaning there is power there once gear is in otherwise its off, and I ask because I want run a set of wires from there straight to my reverse lights. Right now I just wanna pass that damm light inspection. Please help me.

p.s. Anyone in the SJ bay area got a vert they converted to manual and got all the wires working for the top? I need to know coz i broke my freaking top trying to do a manual thing. thanxNext: I have a z32 that Im taking parts off right now. The car came hooked up with after market stuff and wondering what can I use for my 240sx? I am thinking will the whole rear end fit? how about this, I read in one of the forums not sure if zilvia.net that the tie rods off the z32 fit the s13 and that they are as good as the tein? does that hold any truth? Just curious otherwise I know what to part out and send to hell. Well any help will certainly aid my dismantle. Thanx in advance.

Sorry tdawg... I don't have enough experience with the technical wiring to help you out myself... but someone here has to be able to help you.

To paraphrase his questions:1.) Which is the reverse light sensor on the manual transmission?2.) How does that reverse sensor work... can he just send a wire directly to the tail lights?3.) Are any suspension or drivetrain parts compatable from 300zx to 240sx.

Can someone jump in here and help out?
