I never post something like this until i do a thorough search and believe me, i searched, there is a lot of bs wiring questions and I'm tired of sifting through it.

Bottom line, I'm replacing my redtop sr engine harness with a brand new one. looking for a good write up.

i know about the one on fr sport.com, but i have used it before and had some issues. and no, i don't want to buy a retarded video! lol

thanks!!

maybe u did something wrong b/c the one on FR-sport is very accurate. its not rocket science to fix the harness, all your really doing is matching colors and extending some wires.

You just have to cut and extend 3 plugs, you can remove the unused ones and swap out the dashboard connection. The write up is pretty straight forward. Your issues before could have been numerous things. Just take your time and be sure you solder and wrap everything. Don't use butt connectors. Good Luck.

actually, you have to cut and extend 2 plugs, and then re-wire 3 more, but thankyou.
