i am a proud owner of an r32 gts-t. it has an RB20DET. my car started doin this thing every once in awhile where it would start acting like it has no power at all. when taking off once i hit 4500 rpms it feels like it has no power left in it, and other times it has no power takin off and it all kicks in around 3000-4000 rpms. i am not sure if its my turbo goin out or if is my wastegate messin up, or maybe it could be some other unheard thing. i appreciate any and all the help i get, i need to get it fixed cuz it is my daily driver and my toys as well. let me know if there r any other questions.

Check your fuel pressure. I had a GTS4 that was doing that and the pump was failing and couldn't meet demand when the boost kicked in; it would fall flat on its face.

It could be a coil or plug. However you should notice a misfire.
