need a lil help

ok heres the skinny i just got my 89 coupe to run i put on a new distrubotor and rotor button new cap new coil and ign module adjusted the timing but it jumps around while idling and wont rev up past 3500 and when u put it in gear it drops below a grand and want go up at all i am thinking that it is the plungs and wires and i also cant get my head lightys to come down they go up but thats it the dont turn on or anything i plan on checking to make sure i am getting poer to them today when i quites raining and i have a couple or plugs tht are beside my battery that have been cut off and i cant figure out what they run to any help would be great thanks
