Since the dealers want $125 & $165 a piece for them , I am on the hunt.

Have you checked with one of our sponsors? Scottsdale charges $142 for an injector that my local guys want over $200 for. Heck I think I paid $80 for the engine mounts on the Q. Doubt the G would cost more.

Do you need two or four?

There's one on the DS, PS, firewall & radiator. The radiator one is more of a torque limiter.

If I know which are broken, if you don't mind a little more vibration, I have Energy Suspension motor mount inserts that fill in the gaps around two of the mounts, replace one completely & replace the two pieces that make up the fourth.

They're like $40 for all four. All four might not work, depends on which ones are broken.

The best part is they work even if your mounts are broken.

I went through 3 sets of the stock ones on my 91 SE-R from 7/91-98.

Quote »Do you need two or four?[/quote]I have not been under the car yet to look. The dealership said the upper engine mount was torn and the trannie mount. They did not specify if it was the side or the back trannie mount, so I guess I've got some crawling around under the car to do. I will try to get that done today when I'm prepping the track car for the WE.

I really like your price. As the G is my wife's daily driver car, I don't know how much she'd dig more idle and torque shake transmitted through the chasis. I'll ask her - I have a feeling I know what that answer's gonna be.

So these inserts would mount on/into the existing torn mounts (as well as the ones that are still good)? I assume that they are solid inserts? Please inform - I'm interested!

Many, Many Thanks!

Others please help as well, my wife may not go for the "track car feel" in her DD.

I did a 96 G20 > DET swap & used them once, but I'm getting old and can't remember which or how many of the four we used.

The torque positions are the firewall & radiator. The pass side is fluid filled & better to keep it stock if possible. These inserts are urethane, not solid, but not far from it.

If it's your wife's DD though..............I can tell you now she'll hate them. You might consider doing just the radiator side as a limiter if you need new ones elsewhere. It will help preserve the others somewhat.

But with two or four, the change will rattle in the ashtray at idle. Off idle they're great fwiw.
