I need a GPS system very bad but lookig for something that would be on the dash. Looked for oem 01-03 gps units but can't find any and dont really want a aftermarket unit b/c i've seen that most double din units leave a gap under it and hate flip out ones. and i came across this on ebay a 6th gen maxima center link below and want to know weather is there any way to fit it without major mods,or a place where i can find a oem gps unit for 5th gen maxima

I'm not sure of the differences between 5th and 6th gen GPS units...but I doubt you would be able to use a 6th gen GPS unit on your car without modification.

Try OEM parts suppliers, salvage yards, and the classified forums. One of our sponsors, EverythingNissan is an OEM parts dealer and will treat you well.

Another option is something like Pioneer's AVIC D2 or AVIC N3. It will replace your headunit as well, though.

Yes, but it was only on the later years.

Personally i'd just buy a nice aftermarket in-dash unit. Finding a good OEM one is going to be expensive and hard to locate.
