I got a 97 s14 planning on putting on some 19x8 and 19x9 g35 double spoke wheels on it, what should i go with to get that nice ride and look springs or coilovers? What kind of struts should i use? Where can i get my hands on it?

Coilovers. Strut/Spring setups are extremely unsatisfying. Go with Stance GR Pro+ from Enjuku. Trust me.

And those wheels... run two sets of the rears, 19x9 all around. Any wheels less than 9 inches wide on an s chassis (especially an s14) is lame.

springs alone are just as bad as spring/shock combos. Oem shocks wont last long with an added drop or increased spring rate.

coilovers>combo>springs.

You won't get a smooth ride with coilovers. Especially the lower end ones. Most Sub $1500 coilovers have crappy valving. Also, they are designed to go really low, which kills the roll center of the car, that would lead to more body roll, which is why they run stupid high spring rates. Although they would look good. If you have the money, KW variant 3's would be the way to go. Good valving, and 6/4kg spring rates, perfect for street use (stock is like 2/2kg). But the choice is up to you.

So far I am very happy with my Flex's. I had tanabe lowering springs with stock shocks when I got the car, then megan streets, now flex's.

I am old, and need a tolerable ride. Roads are crap here.

My advice would be to ride along with something similar to what your looking to buy.

There is a guy local selling a set of those 19" G wheels for 600 or so if your interested. I know him from another forum. Email me directly if you need contact info.
