Hello fellow niconauts...

I've had a bit of bad luck with my car and getting it tuned...

First place i took it was Dynolabs in Georgia... my PFC wouldn't save any of the changes, i had a bad wheel bearing, and 1 bolt holding my driveshaft together.... I got my PFC working properly now... driveshaft is fixed, and wheel bearing is taken care of..

So... trip 2... i went to Modernspeedlabs located in Indianapolis, IN... These guys are awesome.. but don't have any experience with the PFC... so when we were trying to use the datalogit software to tune... nothing was happening... and we didn't get anything accomplished

That's 2 unsuccessful trips so far and hopefully this next one will prove 3rd time is charm...

I have heard nothing but great things about Batlground.com company... located in georgia... They told me they're fully capable of tuning the PFC using datalogit software and there shouldn't be a problem.... KEEP IN MIND I STILL NEED MY APEXI PFC BOOST CONTROLLER INSTALLED CORRECTLY.

Or option 2... there's a company listed on the apexi website... it's called Knowledge Performance... they're a certified PFC tuner... I called the company and they told me they could tune the PFC on an rb25 no problem... although i don't know if they'd beable to install my PFC boost controller...

batlground wants to charge 126 (something like that) an hour... and knowledge performance wants to charge 150 an hour....

does anyone have any suggestions for this situationThanks-Andrew

dunno if you want to drive a bit but p1 performance near me in sc is an apexi power excel dealer with lots of experience in powerfc tuning.......they can do anything you want done to the car and the dyno pricing is fairly reasonable.they know who i am as i frequent them.....

i know batlground i saw their cars in a drift show ( i hope it was them lo) anyway thats the usual price for a tune, ask them to do something in regards to a map, i mean ofer them 200 for a coplete map no matter how long it takes, it usually takes like hour and a half so yer saving, my friend does tuning so he hooked me up for 150 for a map, but now he is out of buisness i thinkl

PFC boost controller.

sorry for off topic, but could you explain what this is? is it an add on for the PFC?? i have a PFC and commander, but its still in the box. i also have the boost solenoid. i didnt know boost could be controlled using the PFC. i was under the impression that i need to buy a seperate boost controller to control my boost. thanks.

Yes a PowerFC boost controller.... it's quite simple really... just an ordinary apexi boost solenoid and map sensor.... the boost solenoid hooks up to the vacuum lines that would normally be hooked up to your factory boost solenoid... and then you plug the solenoid up to the boost control harness that stems from the EFI harness.....then just plunge the map sensor into the fuel pressure reg. vacuum line... the map solenoid has a harness that you run through the same hole the EFI harness goes through in the fire wall... and this harness plugs into the PFC.... BAM.. instantly you can read your boost levels and adjust them....

Unfortunately for me.... i never got a factory boost solenoid.... and the wires that, at some point in time, branched off of the EFI harness and plugged into the boost solenoid harness are cut and i'm not 100% which ones they are...

I'm leaning more towards the certified PowerFC tuners.... i mean if they're certified to tune a PFC they sure as hell should know how to hook up the PFC boost controller

There is a Apexi certified shop(Adrenaline) here in St Louis. I don't know much about them, but they have a large following here. If I'm remembering correctly St Louis is closer to Paduka than GA.
