wats up guys, i was looking for some advice. i have a 2010 2.5 coupe that is my daily driver and i think this car sits way too high. i want a drop but i'm lost when ppl start talking suspention 2 me. i kno theres a lot of kits out there but i was wondering if u guys could tell me what u used and how it feels. pics would be a great help too. wat i want doesnt have to be slammed to the floor and i dont want to sacrifice the handling of the car. any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

If you've got the cash and the technical skills (or help from someone who has the technical skills), consider coilovers, too. There's a few different brands to choose from.

I have the BC Racing coilovers, too - you can see the drop in my sig, but I don't have it as low as Reed in his.

They cost about $1000 for a set of four - it replaces your whole shock/spring assembly.

Coilovers are 10x easier to install vs. springs. It may take a little time to set them up just right, but not real technical in my eyes... unless you didn't play with legos as a kid.

Well put. Looking back, you're right. Coilovers were really easy. Only challenge for me was it being my first real modification to the car.

And Phenom: not looking like I'm going to part out the coilovers, as I'm planning to keep the car for a while. Dealers want to give me the shaft hard with my trade-in, and I'm not having it.

honestly bro... with the street conditions around ur area... i think ur better off jus getting the eibach drop for now until u kill out ur struts... considering theres a big difference in price $200-ish vs $1000ish... n installation isnt hard at all theres step by step write-ups on here but ur dad shouldnt have a problem with it at all...

when it comes to coils it really doesnt matter might be a little bumpy since they weigh less(doesnt load the spring as much)

Any suspension changes will only void the suspension elements of your warranty. But supposedly dealerships will try to accuse mods for voiding warranties that aren't related to the modded area. This is just what I've heard, never experienced it but I'm as worried as you are. Just got coils installed
