Cold weather? So you jumped in the car, started it and drove immediately a very short distance and shut it off? Any gasoline in your oil?TheJerseydude wrote:I drove up to the school and then about an hr later I went out for a quick drive around the corner. Everything seemed perfect with my Q until I came out of the store and was on my way home. As i reversed out of my parking spot the engine was shaking and the response from me giving it gas was sluggish.
Good thinking. Not so much Techron, but some ISO-HEET to absorb any possible water in the gasoline. Ethanol promotes water accumulation in underground tanks.Ludeaem wrote:Could be gas with a lot of water in it? If i were you id first go buy some Techron and put that in. Go from there
Fuel pump sock and fuel filter should prevent tank debris from entering injectors. Never seen a injector cleaner make tank bottom debris melt or magically disappear.Ludeaem wrote:yea thats what i meant sorry. But maybe afterwards techron (tank after if problem persists) since i know sometimes old deposits from the bottom of your tank can come clog injectors (had it happen to my old stanza) and fuel injector cleaner cleaned them right out
Boy, that's the truth. Even a fine barely visible coating on the bottom of the tank portends sooner pump failure.qship96 wrote:
