improperly mating the engine back to the transmission we managed to shove the shaft into the torque converter and it all came out with the engine. Maybe next time we'll disconnect the torque converter with the transmission. However when the shaft was shoved into the torque converter the question is did the other end of it damage the pump in the transmission and is there a clip in there that holds that shaft in the center of the transmission that connects it to the torque converter?
