Need a convertible rearview mirror w/ map lights

Can someone take a pic of the overhead dome/map light that's on a vert? Anyone have one to sell/give me?

Optional rearview, some have the map lights and some don't.

Yes, OEM mirror from Nissan.

Yes it's stock and all verts didn't have them...mine didn't, and I know a few others that didn't either. I wrote a plug and play thread on the map light mirror. Here is the link: zerothread?id=405082I bought the mirror and the jumper (wiring harness) from Courtesy Nissan http://www.courtesyparts.com/ . Hope this helps out.

That is correct. My 93 does not have that mirror. But, it is now on the list of upgrades. It is frustrating at night not being able to use a light.

They are a almost must have. I was shocked when my Vert didn't have map lights, but was an easy install on the map light mirror.

yeah mine doesn't have one either, I never even knew about it being an option until I saw wmdavis007's thread on it. pretty cool, I'll have to get one

My OEM vert non-lighted mirror fell off and actually unluckily hit the shift knob and broke the glass. 1 year later, the $9 cheapie I bought broke in several places and also fell off.

Damn this thread for making me want something I did not know existed - map lights!

FYI the vert map light mirror package for ~$100 is no longer available from Nissan NA. I'm probably going to use a Donnelly 012001 - very common OEM supplier for GM - used from eBay they go for $20 with wiring pigtail.

It's 10 inches wide vs the 8.5 one I have now but it looks like it will fit fine.

Just in case anyone has a real vert OEM one for sale please reply or PM me.

Replaced my mirror. My original was a base one with no lights and not very wide. The silver paint on the back was coming off inside the mirror. I went OEM with map lights from nissan. It is a little bit wider but you have to get a wiring harness to connect it to the dome light on the car and theres a cosmetic plastic cover that covers the wire running up the windshield to the dome light. Bought the harness from some guy on ebay selling them for 10 bucks.

yeah man, got an OEM one from Courtesy...didn't ask how many were left. Paid about 100$ for it last summer (2012)so it's possible they are all gone. Honestly, due to the age of the car, when i sit in it i am constantly making mental notes of what could fail. If it's plastic or rubber, i go to the parts site to see if they still have any left and i buy it even if the part isn't trashed yet. Got too much money invested in this car to give up now.

Ha ha - I'm with you 100% man! I found a vert dome light (!) and the guy had 2 lenses (!!!) - I didn't even consider NOT buying both.

Yah, Courtesy and the other Nismoparts one both said none left just in May 2013. I grabbed a generic GM one but it doesn't have the fancy wire cover.
