Are you referring to a short block (Consisting of crank, rods, pistons, oil pump) or you referring to a bare/naked block! If it gets hard for you, I got 2 automatic CA18DET engines complete that I was going to use for an experiment. But if you're just looking for a block, hit the junkyards.

yo Dee how much for the complete auto ca18det engines? can it be easily swaped to a 5spd? also do you have an extra 5spd ca bell housing also?

I was looking for a complete short block.. including pistons, crank.. but really I only need pistons ( there was some metal inside when I forst started it up and it melted to the piston top)

Have you cleaned up the "tiny scored marks on the walls?" I would think that would be a major concern. Sounds like an overbore and new oversize pistons would be in order. Not cheap but better than getting it all put together only to find out you can't hold compression in one cylinder.

I have a friend that may have an extra transmission that he'll let go and pulsar_gtr has a transmission as well that he's willing to sell.

ill sell you my block for 250 it was in my car but i broke a camshaft so i put a who;e new motor in planning to build this one but if you want to buy it let me know [email protected] i also have a head for sale with a replaced cam.
