I just took out my mechanical belt fan and im lovin how my engine doesent sound like a hurricane at high RPMs. Anyhow, I have my A/C fan still hooked up and all but I want to rewire it. My FSM is 6000km away from me right now so im kinda in a pickle. Here are my questions,

1- there are 4 wires coming out of it, which do what?2- what do I do to the ends not connceted to the fan once I clip them?

Yes I did a search on here. The 240sx.org install section is also down. I need some quick guidance on this though. Im no electrical genius obviously but I can set it up once I know what the wires do. I was thinking about totally rewiring the fans, OR just maybe stripping a portion of whatever wire I need and hooking up a wire going through a switch (a T intersetion of wires), that way I figure the fan will go on with the A/C and will also go on with a switch.

Ideas? Info on the 4 wires?

Help a murph out :D and MERRY CHRISTMAS all of you and your families!

Completely rewiring would be pretty simple, first find out which one is positive and negative, then ground negative good, wire positive to battery and put switch between negative or positive lines.

I was thinking about doing that but first I want to find out if I can wire it somewhere where it will only make it spin the fan when it gets hot.

They use special eletronic device to test positive and negative lines without damaging anything, sorry, my english sucks, wish I had enough words to explain it.
