I got my rear calipers/backingplate/e-brake stuff off a Z32 manufactured in 03 of 89. Here the issue im having: Some companys list the rear rotors as fitting all Z32 years while others have a completly different part number for the 89 year (including Rotora...I got my slotted front rotors from them) Does anyone know of a difference in rotors or know that the 90+ Z32 rear rotors WILL work on the 89 stuff?

Reason i ask is, i dont want to be stuck later with a brake system thats hard to find parts for...if the rotors wont interchange ill just find a set of 90+ rear brakes....

two flavors - 26 and 30mm. 30mm are where the bulk of the parts are available for, the 26 are a bit more difficult. we talkin 4 or 5 lug? there will be a difference with the brake anchor pins from the early 90's vs the ones made later on if you plan on retaining the ebrake that's for the z32.

5-lug with s14 se rims...I thought the 30mm vs 26mm was refering to the front rotors thickness. I have another set of backing plates but am unsure of the year...i'll have to go compare them and see if i can spot any differences.

Allright, I managed to get my 89 calipers swapped out for 93 rear calipers, but i couldnt get the ebrake stuff or the 93 backing plate...aghhhh!!! Will the 89 ebrake stuff work with a 90+ rotor?

oops sorry forgot about it being for the rear.

the ebrake stuff can work if you've already got the 5 lug without any drama. The detail you'll need to worry about is with the anchor pin. Does your anchor pin have a bolt going through it?

You'll need the backing plate for the ebrake stuff to get pinned through but yeah should work if it's a z32.
