i have a 2002 nissan pathfinder 4x4.
my fan switch [ http://www.courtesyparts.com/27140-swit ... 00642.html ] keeps overheating and melting on me. i replaced the switch last year and now i have to replace it again. i checked the wiring that connects to it and found out that the black wire gets very hot. i would like to replace the black wire but i dont know where it goes
a wiring diagram would help me out alot

Black is ground. You can try grounding it to the chassis with thicker gauge wire instead of through the stock wiring.

i made a mistake.
it turns out that the wire that is overheating is the blue wire with the white stripe.
this wire even has burning marks on it.
i relpaced the blower resistor last year and i still have this issue..........
i tried to switch the a/c relay with the fog light relay..... same issue

The blue/white wire leads to the blower motor. Check for corrosion on the ends of the wiring harness containing the wire.
