so my window switch went bad on my s14 as they do. and i have a backup switch but it doesn't have power locks, unlike my original. Someone mentioned the plugs are different and i was wondering if anyone had a pin-out diagram or knew the differences to help with re pinning the non power lock switch,

Have you checked the factory service manual? I would think that's something that should be in there.

The BF chapter of the FSM has the information in it. It seems to address the window separate from the door locks. So the diagrams only show each system separately. The text description of each wire and when it has power seems pretty useful in conjunction with the diagrams. This could be good for what you are trying to do. A voltmeter will help. How do you intend to flip your door locks?

oh, i think i was looking in the wrong section then.
I figured i'd just manually flip my locks for now, which i view as a small trade off for a working window. Until i find the window switch i need.

edit: according to the fsm where i have found some info.
in EL-165 it shows that the window switch pin out is 2 with the blue wire.
but in EL- 168 it shows the power lock pin out as 2 with a blue wire.
i feel like I am missing something obvious.
