I was running an rb25de with a turbo kit, but i blew the headgasket, and i dont feel like taking it all apart, so long story short i just bought an S1 rb25det.heres were the problem comes in, my harness is already pretty modified to fit the DE, and the harness needed for the DET is not going to be the same as what i am running now. I only bought the short block and no wiring. do you think its even worth it for me to try and re do my harness to accept a different motor yet again? or just spring and get a whole new one?do you think its safe for me to hack my harness again even?

Is it just me or logic just messed up. If you just bought a short block your still gonna have to find a head and reassemble everything together. Or if your trying to fit your DE head, your still better off just changing your headgasket in your old motor. Since you planned on pulling the motor anyways to change the short block, you might as well spend a few hours changing headgaskets. Then save the short block for when you actually blow the motor itself. I dunno maybe you haven't thought this through completely...

I know he said short block, but I think he meant he bought the long block, and no transmission/hraness/ecu. In that case Id wait for a harness and ECU to turn up on EBay and go that route, or buy one fomr a NICO spnsor if any has one.
