I just noticed it being unplugged. The two actually don't match up.
It's directly under the driver's dash next to hood latch as you can see the gas pedal.
Are they both meant for the code reader's?
Thanks!

Does the gray plug mate with the white one? If so trace the gray plug cable. There may be a data logger on board somewhere.

Might be harness M9 "Data link connector for GST", FSM says it's gray and has 14 pins, and is in the correct area.

The metal clip just above the grey harness in picture 1 is the holder for it. The harness will be facing down like the white harness is.

So it indeed is the other data link connector?

GST is FSM-speak for "OBD-2 code reader". The WHITE connector is for the OBD-2 code reader.

You're right, I am mistaken. I meant to say that it was M11: Data link connector for CONSULT, as that one is gray and has 14 pins; M9 is white, has 16 pins (ODB2).

What TownCivlian said. The grey connector is for CONSULT, which was the first generation Nissan hand-held
mechanic-in software. They are up to CONSULT-III now.

For the geeks in the crowd, think of them as tablet computers with special software for fixing your Nissan. Their capabilities
go far beyond any retail OBD-II scanners.

And to summarize: put the gray plug back on its clip, and don't worry about it.
