Neccesary Front Clip ?

Im New to these cars and are used to hondas which anybody can work on. i recently read a comment that said i order to change N/A to TT You have to change the whole fornt clip. can anyone tell me why is the motor alot bigger?

the motor mounts are in different locations, so the suspension crossmsmber that has the motor mounts need sto be swapped as well, also you need all the piping, intake hoses and I/C's in addition to the harness and ECU, if you get the front cut it's all already together and easier to swap over, and cheaper than buying all the pieces individually

Exactly.

Fox213506, he's not saying you have to remove the whole front of your car and stick the front of another car on. They're saying to buy a front cut and swap over the parts

Just for clarification, the motor mounts are not in different locations and nothing on the cross members need to be changed or modified in any way.

the N/A motor mounts are offset like that too!? I guess I was thinking Z31

So you are saying that a n/a Z32's engine mounts are in a different location then the TT Z32?

I ask because i am looking to buy a n/a Z32 and getting a clip and doing the swap myself. Any other info you guy's might have would be great too!!!
