Some cars do not use actual sensors in each wheel, but rather use input from the ABS sensors (Less pressure, smaller radius, slightly more revolutions).MinisterofDOOM wrote:
Why the @#$% didn't TPMS BEGIN as exact PSI readings? I'd PAY EXTRA for PSI-accurate TPMS.
The older 350's have it too as one of the scrolled optioned on the multi-function gauge in the triple pod. I can almost understand it not being incorporated into the G sedan, but it should have been on the G coupe and never should have been removed from the Z.audtatious wrote:My sisters Nissan Quest will show the PSI of each tire on the console whereas I don't have that on my G's. Agree. I really like that feature on my 350z. Very handy at the track to monitor hot pressures during the session.BusyBadger wrote: The older 350's have it too as one of the scrolled optioned on the multi-function gauge in the triple pod. Still nothing beats a good mechanical gauge, I recommend Longacre.

Its probably available if you got the factory NAV system. My 04 G35 Coupe had it. So does my 04Titan. Both are displayed on the nav screen within the trip menu. Its a nice feature as I can easily check the pressure readings if I feel something is a bit off. Made it easy to tell I had a nail in my tire months ago even before the warning light came on.audtatious wrote:My sisters Nissan Quest will show the PSI of each tire on the console whereas I don't have that on my G's. I remember seeing that on a demo Quest at our local dealership. What a cute feature, maybe the 2013 Z is in my future.Jesda wrote:Basically, when you're filling, it beeps the horn when the tire reaches it's proper pressure level.
