nead to clean the inside of my block

I removed the internal parts to my ka24de an i had a blown head gasket an i would rether spend the doe on parts an have 5 lb of purple magic degreser but i dont want to clean the inside like i am the outside of block. it just makes me uneasy 4 sum reasion. if u can give sum advice besidedes an acid dip or a hot tank thankyou for reading.............

I cleaned the inside of my valve cover with gasoline and a paintbrush. Just let it pool in spots in and keep dipping the brush, painting over the oily grime and it will melt away bit by bit.
