NE1 Play soccer?

Im 17 yrs old and play for a competitive and high school team... HAMILTON AVALANCHE AND HAMILTON WEST SOCCER RULES!!! ahhaha well neways, I had a soccer game today with my competitive team against a select team.. For those who don't know: a select team is a team with all really good players who are (selected) to that team by a state tryout or wutever.. But i hadnt practiced in mad long, or ran for that matter, so i was sooo outta shape. To make a long story short- they possessed the ball for the better part of the game and my team was running around chasin um..lol Me, not stayin in shape lost my legs pretty much after the first half!! My fuggin legs cramped up and i looked like forrest gump wit those crutch thangs on his legs lmao(no offense to anyone who is disabled or wears crutchy thangs) But i did play the whole game... We lost 2-1, not too bad but there play was a lot more organized then us.. Just felt like tellin you guys since theres prolly sum soccer/futbol fans out there.. dre

I played for 7yrs. Quit becaus eof my coach. Could score pretty easily because of my speed. Once I was in front noone could catch me so then just had to juke out the goalie. He only let me be an attacker(forward) one time in the season. Within 5 minutes I scored a goal, then he put me back on defense. Hardly anyone could get past me. I'm still in decent shape nowhere near what I was though. That's surprising that you oinly lost by 1 from the way it sounded seems liek you guys should of been cleaned out. Did they just not have a scoring team or does your team have excellent defense?

The first half we played man to man defense... The second half, since our coach realized that we were gassin, told us to play a zone defense. We never done it before, but it worked aight i guess. A little confusions here and there, but it was easier on the legs. O ya, we had quite a few good chances such as- breakaway but couldn't chip the goalie, went right into his hands above his head.. and a couple more really nice shots just wide. Florida240sx- i play defense too, right back mostly and midfield for my high school team.. U shoulda told your coach what you wanted to play, or kicked him in the shins lol

you guys are talking outdoor right?? my high school didnt have any kind of soccer but we got together a indoor team, it was a blast. i played for a few years, was pretty decent. i want to get together another team.

Ya, we play indoors too... gotta couple leagues we played in. Theres this place on Rt.33 now thats called Sports World, they built indoor fields for indoor soccer. Played one season so far and you get to chooose your own 5 man squad...Soo much fun dude, but y no high school team??? not in the school's budget?

yeah my high school was TINY, like 57 in my graduating class. So we didnt have many sports, it was ghey. Every school has soccer pretty much except my hicka$$ farm school lol

Ouch... dude... my class has over 500...

I played muppet soccer til I was 7... if that counts... I was too huge for my coordination then, so I quit. Coordination only caught up to me a few years ago...
