the style is decent, the fitment was already weak though. no idea why you would put overs on with 8.5s with a weak offset and then space the f*** out of them. unless in the very near future some 11+ inch rear wheels are coming. even then still not running overs in the front yet? not being a d!ck but i dont see why....i was just really hoping to see some sick wheels lol.

why would he need overs for the front when he has a r32 front end? skylines are wider than silvia's and 180sx's, he needs the rear overs for it to look sick which im sure with the 50mm overs it does. the main reason why i asked what size overs he was running is because i think 30mm wouldnt give it the right look with the r32 front end. as far as wheels go there is a fitment and look he is going for and im sure he has an idea of how he wants the car to look when hes done, if you like it or not thats how trends are set in the import world and if hes marching to the beat of his own drum then more power to him. the vip look is the new thing thats taken over japan and its slowly catching on here does that mean if someone doesnt like it then they are wrong? well no it doesnt because everyone has their own taste. give credit where credit is due even if its not the route you would take. in days when the economy is so f***ed up be glad someone is taking steps forward. if the guys at G-Dimension fallowed the trends they never would have been the first to do a SR swap in the 90's when everyone was building hondas with swaps, so going against the grain isnt a bad thing. more power to Andrew with his project.

lol if skyline fenders are wider it is minimal im sure. they probobly run similar size and offset wheels as s-chassis. i never knocked on his style either so no need for a tangent about how he is doing his own thing. everything has been done and nothing trendsetting is going on here. i never said he needed to make it look VIP or any other style either, if we all liked the same exact s*** our cars would be boring. you need to venture to other forums besides nico. because for one i cant remember the last time i went to 240 general and didnt see 15 threads about busted multi color knock off 240s. r32 front on a s13 is pretty cool if done right and i like the direction his car is going, but overs and weak wheels is silly. kinda like giant gt wings on street cars, its just for the look. anyways, i sure hope they are origin type II or that style. stop trying to argue with me, im not hating on anybody. i hope the car comes out as cool as it could with enough time, effort and money.

The front fenders are 34mm wider than the rest of the car. That's why I got rear fenders. If you don't like it you don't like it...that doesn't bother me.. I'm sure the whole car isn't too many peoples' cups of tea. As has been said however...if you look around on NICO you see a lot of people doing a lot of the same thing. Oh well..

If I gave two s***s about winning a car show I wouldn't have spray painted my car black..and bought gram lights...for 300 dollars...I'm sure bandwagoning, nut-riding douches over on zilvia would hate my car. Good thing they're not driving it I guess.

good lord those front fenders are huge, are they bowed out or something? with some conversion fenders, nice wheels, aero and paint it would look pretty sweet. does look a lot better with the rears, never would have though the fronts were THAT big. honestly i think more people on zilvia would like your car than on here though lol. what size spacers are you running?

no..the fenders are the way they are because the skyline is a wider car. Not a conceptually hard thing to get on board with. They're bolted up in the factory locations along the door seam. So..that's how they sit...less I should beat them in with a hammer. I do however appreciate the input...opinions are always welcome

however..."aero" to me looks like s***. everything out there looks like retarded snow plows or lame BS that everyone buys because they don't like the snow plow kits.

paint to me...doesn't matter. I have another car that's shiny enough.

"nice wheels"? I mean...they're gram lights. made by Rays, just like Volks. That qualifies as nice to me...regardless of how many cool points I lose to most people because they aren't a -40 offset, stretched tire, flushness hotness whatever

this doesnt fit like s***explain to me the difference.

theres plenty of aero that isnt "snowplow", shall i provide pictures or is it just a money thing. overfenders with no aero looks f***ing retarded if you want me to be perfectly honest. especially without a purpose to them like fitting wide wheels. if paint doesnt make you happy then why all the body modifications, obviously you care about the exterior. yeah, gram lights are quality wheels, but the fitment is terrible and dont say you dont care about fitment cause if you didnt you wouldnt run spacers. i run flush wheels with a nice size tire front and rear so trust me its not a "bandwagon" thing.

congratulations, you thoroughly explained your opinion and were a d!ck doing so...

the difference is obviously thousands of dollars I don't have...and those fenders are cut and molded to stock fenders.

I don't like 9.978 out of 10 body kits...get off my nuts.

It seems now that the pictures I posted offend your sensibility. If they do, I recommend you not look at them anymore.

I believe the reason I got the fenders has already been covered...

Why the body modifications? So the back was as wide as the front. Done. and....done.

You like flush wheels. congrats.

funny the things people say they hate because they cant have them lol anyways, car looks sweet dude. i like it because its different, despite the somewhat constructive critisism. i like the tail lights, i was painting mine all red until i broke one of my spares. ill probobly do them now since im not driving it.

heres the s***box im driving, hate on it

I didn't say I hated anything. I just don't like them. Nothing screams butt hurting tool to me than someone daily driving a 240 with super aggressive origin kits or something that are all bashed up and torn to s***. Seeing that a lot is depressing, deepening my disdain for body kits. I like a lot of side skirts though? maybe I need to get those...

whats to hate? the super gay license plate SC has now? Nothing any of us can do about that...it's a hatchback? Everyone knows coupes are cooler.

i used translucent candy apple red model car paint with wheel repair clear coat for durability...if you haven't gotten materials already.

i love the hatch but i love my coupe more. im finally starting to finish up getting parts for it, ran into some problems. apparently vh chain guide are complete s*** so i have to order a chain kit now. testors candle apple red the cans spray like s*** though. i got one painted but i need to redo it cause it fell in some pine needles, then one broke while it was chillin in my trunk. ill get around to that sometime i guess.

anybody know of another vh45 for sale, want one to tear down and build for the future. also need a wet nitrous kit.

I never really had a problem with my cans. I used graffitti tips though. Same as with painting the car. They spray a s*** ton better than regular tips.

There's a VH in a q in the junkyard down here. Unfortunately you'd have to give a testical at least to pay for it...This yard is rediculously expensive.

I think there's one in a junkyard here, only wants 300 for it if they still have it. Parts for these damn motors are so expensive though. Might as well turbo it for the 1800 they want for just cams/springs/retainers.

yeah i got them on eBay. the only bad thing is figuring out which overseas seller your going to trust. i got lucky with the 88 Silvia because there was a guy in Florida that had one for sell, but the 91 Silvia is coming from Israel and the seller told me it normaly takes 5 to 14 days for anything he sends to the US. both the kits i bought are made by Aoshima and have spring suspension and from looking at the 88 Silvia it seems to be of good quality. Only thing i dont like about the 88 model is that it doesnt come with a little CA18det to put together but the 91 comes with a little SR20det, so the 88 will have an empty engine bay. If you deside to order one from eBay just be sure to check out the sellers feedback and s*** like that to make sure your not going to get screwed out of money. Also if your wanting a Sileighty model kit i found a place in Cali that sells the Initial D Sileighty kit as well as selling other drifting related things http://store.jackadeal.com

here is the ebay store i ordered the 91 Silvia from and they even have a R32 skyline kit http://stores.ebay.com/wilenhobbyshop

maybe later i'll order the kits made by Fujimi and Tamiya so i can compare quality.

was working on the silvia model last night and everything seems to go together pretty well, the suspension is pretty cool but it did give me little issues because my hands are big.

damn its dead in here wtf is going on did everyone die or not pay the internet bill?

got a update thats kinda counter productive, i got my silvia grill, headlight brackets, and corner lights wednesday. still waiting for my headlights to come in, hoping they come in today. then i need to get the hood, bumper, fenders and SR20det to have my car right. my friend thinks i should buy a KA and drop it in just to be driving the car again untill i get the SR, he said the reason it makes sense to do that is because i can buy a KA for cheap and more than likely turn around and sell it for the same price i paided for it. so im kinda thinking about it just to have the car back on the road and so i can sell my accord or send it to the junkyard because its wrecked. kinda wondering what other people think about that idea.

hey whats up? ive never posted on here before but i think it would just be a waste of $ to buy a ka. you can get a good sr redtop for around 1500. take the time ur waiting to get ur motor to make sure ur car is ready for it. u just cant beet the sr's, i run a s14 blacktop sr in my 92 coupe, and my buddy has a 92 hatch with the redtop s13. ur choice but i think its a waste. juste my thought

if i buy a good running KA for $300 to $500 and it gets my car back on the road for a bit, then once i get the SR who says i cant turn around and sell the KA for the same price i paid for it? or even better yet, keep the KA and build it for boost, slap on a turbo kit, find a shell and drop it in. plus you can never go wrong with having a extra motor laying around, right? in a perfect world i would have a SR in the car now and an extra SR on hand but im too broke for that.
