well guys update here

i ditched the kazz 2way idea and moving forward full force towards boost.ive already collected a few vital parts.i have -Turbo (s13 t25)-Safc-Stock s14 SMIC and piping

if anyone has any SR Turbo stuff they may have. let me knowi still need

-Injectors-Steel braided oil/coolant lines( if anyone has any laying around) im choosing not to drill into the stock locations on the block so im prob gonna need longer lines.-bov-fuel pump-manifold(preferably stock)

and if anyone has any advice for me i would be grateful.as boosting an N/A SR si rather similar to boosting a KA and i know a few of you have boosted KAs

ive been thinking about this since i bought the motor but it was in the back of my mind.so far ive projected a 800 dollar parts bill. which is what i was aimingi hope to have her boosted by mid feburary

ok.and despite all the turbo talk.im thinking of just buying the 2way instead of boost.if that's the caseill have the diff off Next week.

im just second guessing reliability issues that come with boost.i can make 150 off of simple stuff off my motor now and that should put me around 130 or so torque range which is good enough to drift with.

i may just do the 09 year N/A..

cool man just let me know when and i'll swing up there to get it. im just now getting really focused on saving for my SR so a welded diff will be better than a open diff with the SR. All things go as planned i should have the SR in Feb. im wishing bussiness would pick up at work so i can get some overtime and get it quicker but because the housing market is the way it is our cabinet sales are down. My biggest set back on saving is having a GF but that might change here in a few days....lol. She asked me the other day if i really wanted to be with her and i didnt answer then she asked me what i want and i told her a SR for my car is really the only thing i want right now. i know im such an *** but hey im just being honest. cars first, girls second is the way i have always been and will always be.

Forgive me if this isn't the right spot for this but "here locally" in the Carolinas/Virginia, does anyone know where I could find a stock 97-98 240 hood and headlights in good shape (besides at the dealership)? Thanks

DV19 looking at your pics looks like you have the cash to buy aftermarket parts which would be your best bet seeing as how the kouki is so rare. check enjukuracing.com for the parts you need, they are in florida so shipping shouldnt take to long.

What's not in those pictures is one of my empty checkbook.... Being that my 240 will spend the majority of it's life outside, I really don't want a hood with vents or one that flexes around at highway speeds. That and if I found one locally, I wouldn't have to pay shipping. As for the lights, I've had some unpleasant experiences with non-factory versions before so I think I'll just keep looking for the real deal...Thanks for the idea's though

ha hopefully the diff will be out tomorrow

since im in an s14 and have an s13 diff with the kazz in it i will be swapping the rear coversso all you would need to find are 6bolt half shaftsunless your car already has themyou'll also need s14 bolts and those 4 lil bushings that go into the diff right behind the driveshaft

ill take 70 for it now given your situationtake the extra 10 and put ti towards ur girlfriend before she leaves you!

damn didn't you say you were getting married or something...?

I mean Im not challenging your decision, but it had to go down like that? haha but like I said. Not challenging. More SRs in the area is a good thing.

I would rather have both my car and my wife, its all about the time management, if you can get that just right then having a project car is not impossible.

time management...is that why it's sat for so long un-molested? (in a good way)

yeah i did say something about getting married but that just isn't going to happen. I told her friday night that it was over. it all boils down to that she had lied to me about something and admitted that she lied to me and i tried to be OK with it because it wasn't anything that would have affected the relationship but then i starting thinking that if she would lie about something small then she would lie about other things too. Once my trust is broken it never returns, so i had to end it. i know some people will say a little lie don't matter because everyone lies but that's not true because i pride myself on not telling lies regardless of the situation. honor and integrity means more to me than anything in the world because that is what a person is truly judged on. enough about that, now back to cars.
