OK you guys must be talking about the 1gen cause the one i had was a 2gen and you were luck to find anything for that car. yes they had a jdm engine for it and turbo kits but you had to do some major mods to get it to run right. the 1gen probably was the strongest since it came with a turbo. Mine didn't I had the V6 and it was fast but since i had my 350z and a Rx7, totalled the z sold the 7, there is just something about a rear wheel drive car that i like and this car is easier to get parts for and to mod. like you can get an SR20 drop it in change a couple of plugs , splice some wires and start then tune and drive then you on top of it you can build it up and even the motor that already comes in it you can build up and find parts for it easier than you can the Probe so to me overall the 240 is a better tuner.

If you guys ever have meets, or have done some good mods. I would like to join or hear about the mods so i can get some ideas.

you cannot be serious. honda owns fwd 4cyl in every way. anyways, probes are extra lame, so are 240s lol.

oh..and this argument is kind of moot to me either way...in my eyes the only good that ever came from mazda were the FC and FD rx7 bodies. not even the motors. just the bodies.

yeah im not a fan of fwd myself but i hate to see the probe ragged on when i had one and i know what they can do.

i have a fwd daily driver and i hate it, im currently looking for a new daily driver. trying to find a rwd sedan that i like and so far the only thing that catches my eye is BMW and Lexus. Im looking at 90's model cars because i want something i can buy with cash and not worry about making payments. so if any of you know of any other cars i should check out let me know and dont say a infiniti q45 because i personaly dont like them.

If I were you I would deny looking at one let alone owning one . When I think of a 1st gen. probe, what comes to mind is an over the hill, obese pedoph:le. But I guess to each his own.

i know a couple of guys with SR's and CA's why whats up? as far as meets go, well people try to have them but most the time people dont show up but i would love for us in cola to have a little meet about once a month. im personally always down to meet up with someone and help out with their car as well, kinda in hopes that when i need help someone will show up to give a hand. im saving for a SR swap right now and i wish **** would stop coming up that makes me dip into my savings but hey thats life.

First of all if you want a CA swap in our ride you will need something it doesnt come with, its called patience, because it takes so much time to get it to run correclty, but once it does its so much fun to drive. And by the way TAmos827 there are tons of SR swaps in Cola. man just ask agile_moments he has one and its quick, we took out an evo likie a week ago.

I don't have an SR yet but I am going to be saving up for one and I was looking for people that had one done so maybe when I got mine done then I could call on some help with wiring or something to get it running. Meets sound good need to come up with a date that people might be able to come. I know some others that would like to have a meet but there from the Probe world, but hey a meet is a meet.

i read your post... I have been talking about getting an SR20 and I do remember a post that said I just got my 240. So yeah I remember only nissans. I got a 90 240sx hb. I did own a 350z almost a year ago until a snow storm 50mph and a concrete barrier totalled it in the mountains of PA

you want the honest answer or wishful thinking?.....lol. im hoping to have it by feb but its hard to save for a motor and plan a wedding at the same time. my girl is really supportive of my plans for the car so thats not going to be an issue, what will be the issue is me controlling my spending. in all honesty there is no reason why i shouldnt have the SR sitting by my car right now ready to drop in. i shouldnt have taken a break from tattooing so i could be making some mad bank but hell i get tired of people annoying the hell out of me about doing their tattoos like they dont know how to set up an appointment. anyway was working on the car today and took some pics cause i was bored and im going to have them up on here in a few.
