wow..so today i went to test out how my car handled with all of my new stuff....

wicked smooth, really responsive, almost no body roll....a little bouncy, but they're brand new..less than 20 miles on them..i love it, even if its not coilovers for now(daily driver)

then i hear da clunking noise and my steering jolted every so often..then almost every rotation of the wheel it kicked left..well i babied it home at 10 mph, listening and feeling the car...i get to my garage, check it out..

passenger side 2 studs are completely sheared off at the hub, and my wheel was being held on by 2 loose lugs that came off in a rotation an a half....yea, so the 240 isn't coming to columbia, and my bestfriend backed out on a place to crash, looks like im sleeping in my truck for now haha

ouch. that sucks. i didt that one time on the way to GT Live last year. sheared one stud off of the back and the rest were all finger tight, pretty scary. the back ones were super easy though, not to sure about the fronts though.

im big into rally sports..and i used to have a 2wd cherokee, probaly saw it..hunter green with lights up top, blacked out sport rims..

deffinently was doing some rally driving on some back roads in chapin that i know like the back of my hand..deffinently caught a spot where there had been some washout from a storm....

2 rolls and hitting 5 different trees later, throw in a couple 360s i slipped out the hatch window and walked away. never drive liek that again, one of the biggest reasons i sold all my offroad stuff and my other jeep to fund my 240. keeping it on the pavement

but a sidenote, still would liek to meet up with some of you fellas, love to check out your rides, maybe buy some stuff if you got spare parts laying around

919-721-2628, i'll be in columbia until monday morning, be looking out for a green canyon with NC plates

Ivan -

Motor 1 as built as it gets (at the time). Dead after one season of racing. Split cyl 3 and 4 top to bottom. Ran mid 9s in the upper 150s

Motor 2 built as it gets (for now) and running strong. Will not put down over 731 whp on the dyno because of massive tire spin converting HP into tire smoke. Runs 9.1 @ 162 mph. Takes 50lbs of boost with no issues. Current problem is getting a transmission that can stand the power. Probably making about 1100 crank HP on stock crank and block (worked over of course)

pretty much insane

I have a friend that is going to let me use his truck. Although I can't find a uhaul that will be open on Sunday. I am trying to do the best I can. I will find out everything early tomorrow morning I and I will contact you about 10 am. I am really sorry for the inconvenience that I am putting on you. I have had so many different trucks back out on me. So far it is up to 4 different people. Anyway I will get back to you tomorrow morning for sure. Sorry again.

Zee, actually don't sweat it too much. I went today to work on getting it ready for you, and before I could get to the other car I was going to take the core support off of it came up a downpour, and by the time it quit raining it was muddy and getting too late to do any more work. I was also going to take the headlights, bumper, bumper support, and hood from that car for the one I'm selling you.

As far as what I needed to get from the car I'm selling you, I got that much done, so whenever you get a truck and trailer it's ready to go, and I already have everything else (headlights, hood, bumper, from another car already removed, so when we meet up you can take everything but the core support, and just come back for that later.

So take your time, and we can do it another weekend, so maybe I'll have time to get the core support off. But if not, then at least you can tow the car.

after i get some better lowering springs (for now) the goal will be to SAAAAAVE for some motor. There's not much one can do to a KA adding boltons without spending $$$. There's no way im spending $400 on a aftermarket header. May just end up getting a nice KA to have some headwork done on.

EDIT: Btw, does anyone have an extra header they dont need/want that would donate to me? I want to start a little project on a header just need some measurements and something to work with. Thanks

Jay- I would be great if we could do it next weekend, because I just found out that u-haul would not be open today so what I am going to do is go pick up the trailer this Friday and return it on Monday. So it would be a lot better to do it next weekend thank you so much I feel so much better and so much less stressed out about trying to get everything together by tomorrow.

Pat- Car looks really good. I really like what you did with the wheels looks really good. Oh if I had a header you know I would give it to you.

rps13srsc has a s13 coupe with a SR20det and a pignosehatch for sell for like 6k together or he will sell the coupe for 5k or the motor set for 4k

ohh yeah the coupe is smashed but it still runs. so the motor can be dropped right in the pignose. the sr20det is a monster its like 300hp and has a lot of work done to it.
