aftermarket one is ok, I guess, as long as it's an upgrade, I'm still running the stock intercooler, so do you know what that means for the stock recirculation valve, do I need to bypass it somehow?

do you have a 3 inch downpipe to sell, or maybe a manual boost controller?

I have a question on tire sizes. My Z has 225/45/18's on the front and 245/45/18's on the rear but the diameter is different front to rear. It has to be that way for the VDC and TDC to work correctly. My question is why are they different. I always thought that the 45 was the sidewall profile but there is an obvious difference between the two tires.

Why?

the second number, sidewall, is an aspect ratio....basically a percent.

A 205/50's sidewall is 102.5mm because thats 50% of the treadwidth. Likewise, a 225/45 is 45% of 225mm and 245 is 45% of 245mm. Get it?

ok, guiedo, about that safc, where does it tie into the wiring? Just at the o2 sensor or somewhere else also? Can you tune it yourself or do you have to go to a dyno?

Alrighty That sounds like it will work. I'll need a week or so, so that I can figure out what to do as far as where to store it and all. Plus I'll need that time to get my new wheels anyway.

That sounds easy enough Guiedo, but once again, I need some time to get funds back where they should be. I think I want that hotpipe and bov too.

Brandon, I guess just bring the car here, since that's where we're working on the coupe anyway, we just need to spend some time getting it stripped down so that we can move it somewhere else or sell it. It's just got to have its own wheels.

Take your time figuring out what to do with it, its been sitting at the shop for about 4 months, so a few more weeks (or months) won't be a problem.

So...that's $250 for the motor (minus oil & water pump) and 5spd transmission? Does the motor have the uncut harness?

just get you a good used 20gig ipod (I got mine for 100 bucks) and some sort of car adapter and you won't have any use for cds any more. i-tunes has everything you could think of.
