Hey all, I just found about the meet from turbo8er... If I have the money for gas, you can probably count me in! I'll continue to poke my head in between now and then and see the status and all.

Definitely not going to have the swap done. I went to put the clutch on tonight and it didn't line up right. When doing a RB26 w/ RB25 trans swap I now know from personal experience to use either a TT 300zx disc with NA 300zx pressure plate or just NA 300zx kit. Because the TT 300zx pressure plate does not line up But yeah, swap will not be done on time...

we will meet between 1 and 2 pm in pineville but for the people meeting us in anderson call me this week at 864-634-5949to set up to meet around 10 or 11

http://www.nengun.com is your friend. i had to get a light flywheel from there because no US part (that I know of) would fit the rb20. didn't know you were doing a rb26, i bet thats a nightmare. It'll be worth it when its all done though.

Sweet! Thanks for the link! A tip to anyone else doing this swap, you can use the RB26 oil pan if you use a plasma cutter to take off the front diff, otherwise the front diff will not allow the engine to fit!

What are the plans for after Buca's? I live right in the area and would love to come out, but it wouldnt be until about 8pm since i will most likely be at work before that. Thanks.

So it's set in stone.... Bucca's? I think my 300zx buddy will ride down too. Any plans as to what we're gonna do... i mean.. hangin out, meetin' peeps is cool... but don't the cops like to run people off? Lookin forward to it.. whatever goes down
