After I went to paypal, he gave paypal a tracking number to give to me, and the piece arrived at my door. The filter was not as described, but I got it none the less. The return address was half-assed as was my address, the post office must have pretty much guessed. But I did get what I bought.

yeah hes been trying to sell his car for the past month, but now hes got his friend parting it out for him on carolinanissans.comwe have posted over and over about him, but a lot of peeps seem to give him the benefit of the doubt which i can not figure out.

Everybody talks about doing something, but nobody is willing to make the first move in confronting him face to face. I seriously doubt anything will come out of a direct confrontation, anyway.

Well, apparently his "friends" are leaving him one by one.

I have received emails from several folks who know him and are sick of his BS.

A couple are being very helpful in securing info on his whereabouts and habits.

Couldn't we track what IPs he was using his email addresses or paypal addresses from and track him that way?

Since those would be the only two that he'd more than likely use the most on a local computer?

I dont understand.. IP logging how the person logs on doesn't matter because that person could be using a different wlan server, library server, school computer, or even a lan-center computer!

IP logging somehow for paypal and email address would be the most efficient way to find out his MAIN location.

Seriously, people need to be alot more careful nowadays.. ANYONE can start a scam and get away with it with no string attached. Its pretty damn sad, how simple it is..

greggglet me know on this deal.it would be very EASY to catch a scammer this way.we can pinpoint their location too!

ip logging is useless

assuming that he is not ip spoofing

getting his real ip only tells you which isp and around which region it is.

you still have to deal with the isp the owns the ip and chances are they wont' do anything since it is a petty crime, a thousand isn't much to isp and unless you have a court order or provide proof that you're with the law enforcement, I doubt they will do anything.

Even if you do, they will just give you his address/ phone.

Not trying to start a battle or war or whatever bull**** Nico kid seem to love.

But.

What Philip's point was, if there had been people logiclly coming to Zilvia, posting legit and logical concerns, than it might have been handled differently.

Instead, anything from Nico that I remember seeing was "Hey yo, zilvia sucks a d!ck, ou all allow scammers on your forum" Thats not constructive in any way, just annoying and no one will listen to you. It is possible to make a valid logical educated point on the internet.

I think there were alot more posts by legit people in the right spots to have been handled differently. I am a member of Zilvia as well and I am not hating either way.

My thought is it wasnt handled corrctly from the start and now it has bit everyone involved that took up for him in the ***.

Very simple and like should have been done from the start

Every site that he has ever been on - make a big huge banner saying make sure to check the black list before you buy anything! as this site and anyone on it dosent wanna hear about it if your dumb enough to buy from a already well known scammer!

and every dumb post made in regards to this be deleted by the mods immeditally!

Then alec started to give all sorts of fancy excuses to zilvia crew who believed him instead of the facts shown by niconians.

Then the all well known drama started.

I respect your point of view, but I cannot blame all the people who were treated with disrespect and/or just banned only because they were trying to help.

There are rules on Zilvia. Those rules were broken. When they tried to go around bending the rules, they got caught and they were banned. They weren't banned because of what they were saying. They were banned because they didn't follow the guidelines that everyone else has to follow.

You are correct, I watched that thread like a hawk. There were several complaints about him and the moment that it was mentioned that they were from Nico the user's were banned, negative repp'ed and/or their posts removed. Zilvia stood up for him and in my opinion helped him scam more people.

I guess people missed the point of those complaints... it was nothing more than information for potential buyers to be aware of, if in the end these people decided to give him their money anyway then that is on them. However the usefull information was deleted and his rep was backed by the zilvia admins. Granted there were some complaints that were done very poorly, but those could have been edited accordingly so that the usefull information was still there.

I am not trying to turn this into a zilvia vs nico thing, I am so tired of hearing that **** and lord knows that someone will try to say thats what I am doing. Simply put they deleted posts that could have stopped this before it happened. At the very least they could have made some efforts to investigate the allegations further once his name was called into question as a "Zilvia Group Buy Vendor".

i live in greensboro and talk to alec often, I saw him a few weeks ago at the nopi pre show at the mall, he was driving that white slammed hatch. he never said anything about florida or whatever. hmm.

Hey all I just read this post and have several law enforcement friends and one that happens to work for a collection agency. I also happen to live 20mins from him as well and know where he lives do to an ex-gf. So if I can be any help just let me know what you would like and I'll see what I can do. According to my friend though that if the balance is enough then you can take it to court and hold it against his collateral...ie car...house and get refunded for it all.
