Has anyone purchased the Infiniti North America Map Version 8.2 for HDD System for $190.00?

I wonder how it is delivered, via satelite, or download or a DVD in the mail? If it is a download or DVD could it be used in multiple cars?I would love to have the update, just don't have that kind of spare change.Chime in if you know.

My guess is it comes in a DVD just like the others...I hear ya on the spare change. For $190 I will make educated guesses.

My understanding is that it is a special download. You purchase the code that allows the download and installation by the dealer, my guess via the CF port.

I still believe the first one should be free based on the fact that the old one was old when it came out. Several areas 3 plus years old in my vicinity are not present or listed as something totally different. Lots and lots of streets do not show additions and many businesses have not been updated.

I may or may not get this. I am thinking about going up and looking at an 09 to see if various areas are now shown correctly.

One of the funniest is the Infinity dealer I purchased my 08 from wasn't even listed.
