These are both supposed to be from 2000 Q45 interiors.

One with Nav, one without. I didn't know the dash changed so much with the Nav option. Can anyone verify/comment on this?

I can't imagine they sompletely chnged the dash for the Nav option, inculding the removal of the clock??

Looks like the big square piece under the ac vents is just inter~changeable depending on options.

The picture shows the navigation option on the FY33 for 2000 and 2001.

It changes the interface for the operation of the radio and HVAC.

And "costs" the clock? I think it's neat, but I wouldn't want to forego the clock for another option?

I dont understand why the existing double-din CD player slot wasnt replaced with a combo navigation/audio system. For higher placement?

If you look, the bottom of the nav system would be kind of in the way with the shifter right there.....

I agree, i wouldnt forego the clock.....

It's true. It was the main reason I opted out of the nav system on my 2000 Q. Hardly seemed like a Q without the clock. Fortunately the nav system became nicely integrated with the dash in the current generation q and M45. Much more robust nav system in the newer cars as well. I use the one in my M all the time. Sure beats staring at the little screen on my Garmin V.
