what will it take to convert ordinary audio screen into a navigation system? do i need to change the whole unit?

I can't imagine otherwise... unless of course that $2000 option is only a firmware switch! ;)

I have the 2010 FX35 and it too has the XM radio with Bose speakers but the dealer told me that it was an easy fix to convert the current model to include Nav without having to actually buy the entire new system. Unfortunately I bought the car in another state and can't go back to the dealer who made this promise. I will tell you I have contacted 2 Infiniti parts departments and a Nis :crazy: san and they have told me that is not the case.

Have you heard anymore on the subject?
