Does anyone know if you could stick an in-dash dvd player and somehow hook it up to the existing navigation screen?

Yep. I've seen it done before. The guy replace it with a touch lcd screen it was a great job.

i was thinking more of using the existing screen to hook up to a dvd player. i wonder if there's a way to rewire the display to be able to work with an aftermarket dvd player.

better of selling the screen and using the money to buy the other display..

im just gonna buy a double din screen with dvd player and leave the stock navi alone...i think its the easiest deal...but thanks for the insight bro!
