So I'm on a budget looking at navigation receivers, and I stumbled across the Pioneer AVIC-U310BT. Any reviews or recommendations for me? I'm trying to spend no more than $500 on the unit itself.

The U310 is fine for BASIC navigation needs. The only problem I see with it aside from its small screen is that it CANNOT play video. No camera, no DVD, not even video files from your Ipod. So this is strictly a NAV unit. Check out AVIC-X710BT
