Navigation question and daytime driving light question

First time poster and new owner of a '09 G37S Coupe......love it so far, 2k on the clock. My questions are.......Nav. How do you turn off/get out of the nav while you are driving if you don't want to use it anymore? Question about lights is.......is there a way to hook up daytime running lights? I know the Canadian models come that way, but can we also do it for the USA? TIA....Spike

Welcome to Nico!You could probably buy a DRL module for day lights, but why do you want your lights on during the day?

I asked the same question of my dealer about daytime running lights. The answer is, there is no way to have them. At least not on a stock car.

As for turning navigation off, that's easy...do this: Settings: Navigation: Off

To turn it back on, touch the daytime/nighttime button.

Don't go to your dealer with questions Just come here first or go right to the technician. You can get the module for DRL. That's what people do here in Canada if they bring the car in from the States. They have to go thru inspection.

2. Open battery box cover and also open wiring cover attached to battery box on the right fender side.3. Hamsar 45020 Black wire: ground to the body or Battery(-)4. Hamsar 45020 Red wire: Battery (+)5. Hamsar 45020 White wire: connect to fog light wire(white color) coming from the fog lamp(There are several white color wire, be careful)6. Hamsar 45020 Green wire: connect to oil pressure switch wire(orange color with silver stripe) at the bottom of engine right front near oil filter(45020 orange wire: not used).It works great.DRL turns on only when the engine is running.Original light switch functions are not affected.

It is installed on the FX but it should be same or similar.
