Navigation override?

I'm coming from Lexus GS where there was a wire-cutting hack or after-market plug-and-play switch that could be used to override the lock-out of the navigation and other features when driving.

Is there something like that available for the 2011 / 2012 M? I just bought a 2012 M35h.

IDK about the 2012, I think someone posted an expensive little switch that plugs in to do it on the new models but I have no idea if it works or not. If it does, the same thing could be done for much cheaper by yourself with your own parts. The old models have the ability to cut a couple wires and splice in a switch to bypass the lockout and it can be done for like $15.
