Not..? I called this morning and the funny talkin' (my wife's name for an other than native English speaking; Indian perhaps?) person took a while to check it out, but stated that 7.5 was not available yet?unclefester wrote:Version 7.5 is now available for the 06' and 07' M's. 7.4 is $190 US plus shipping, tax etc. Cost me about $212.00 last year. I can't imagine the new one is any more expensive-we'll see. There will be a bunch of perfectly operating 7.4's available on E-Bay (mine too) after 7.5 comes out. They will go for about 1/2 price of a new one.mcp6530 wrote:whats the cost on that bad boy anyways? I have an 06 M35x and the map is really out of date in the chicago area.....thanks!
No, the NAVTEQ cd only updates the map data on the GPS (such as: new road construction, new interstate exits, etc.) and will not actually change the console interface. While the 2006 M45 does not have a touchscreen, it does have all the other features you mentioned that were on the 2009 version.birdonthebeach wrote:Is the 06 nav a touchscreen display? I recently rented an 09 from Hertz, and I am wondering if I buy an 06, get the new DVD version of the maps, will the GPS be essentially the same as the one in my rental? It was touchscreen (or via the controls on the dash), it announced street names, and it would split screen when approaching a turn. Does this all sound the same as 7.4 on an 06?
thanks!
