We just bought a used 2007 FX35 this weekend...
GREAT CAR but it doesnt have the navigation installed. Seems like a huge waste to have the capability but not be installed.
Are any of you aware how we can get it installed? I see a few guys selling CD's online that claim to install for $50 - $80 which is much cheaper that $500-$600 the dealership is quoting.
This is a great forum and I should be a regular once we get rollin'!
Thanks in advance!

Back when the 1 gen FX was released the navigation wasn't a standard feature due to cost and demand. Importantly, you cannot simply add a CD to the FX to have navigation. You will need to purchase all the OEM components and install them in order for to have a factory navigation in a non-navigation equipped FX. The cost and labor involved in this type of installation is quite significant. Check out the following link for more information on how this is done.

The easiest method for adding navigation to your FX is to purchase an aftermarket unit that affixes to your dash/windshield.
