Navigation Antenna - Installed, but not working?

So I bought an antenna off ebay that had the exact connector to fit into the back of the nav unit. I still have no signal. Here's what the ebay bid said:

up for grabs is for one Panasonic Navigation Magenetic GPS Antenna. HRS GT5-1S Printed on the Plug/Connector.
