Best bet would be to ask a mechanic at a dealership although the answer is probably yes. They have really streamlined the process for building cars now-a-days so a lot of the cars have all the same wiring just not the same options actually installed.

Are you talking about installing the factory Navi?

Well... if the only way to get Navi is to install the factory one then yes. However, if it's possible to install a non-factory one that would be good as well.

Yes, the aftermarket Navis are much better than the Nissan/Infiniti Navis, IMO.

I installed the Pioneer AVIC-D3 with PAC steering wheel interface, Bluethooth, XM, and Boyo backup camera. All of this installed by me was $1350.

I just bought new Sony 6.5" door speakers ($60) to replace the fronts as the stock speakers sound pretty bad... I priced an entire new system and it came out to nearly $3800, so I am doing this in stages until I achieve the sound I am looking for that is easy on the pocket book ;-)

Also, consider installing the Dynamat Xtreme truck kit in the hatch and it will reduce the road and driving noise a little.

let me know how the dynamat works. Im thinking of installing it in my hatch, and covering the firewall with it to eliminate some of the noise coming from everywhere!.... I know this adds weight, but if it works it will be a relief. Thats one thing i liked better about the S2000, it was so quiet when it needed to be, except the exhaust. I expect to hear the exhaust, and the intake whistle from out the window, but i am annoyed with the noise of the motor, and the road.

it depends on the trim of the Z. for the newer Z's it's either an XM radio or Navi unit, and its only available on the Touring and Grand Touring models. If you could, why would you? It will be very expensive.

I use a Tom Tom...fits in the cubby perfectly, and I can take it out and use it on another vehicle whenever...$150 bucks!!! that's my 0.02

I agree with you that "the noise come from everywhere." I installed it in the entire hatch and it made a difference... it really did. At first it was hard for my ears to locate to specific area producing the most noise, so I decided to start with the hatch. I know the paneling well back there.

I bought a new pair of Sony 6.5 for the doors and will install them next weekend. I will also dynamat the doors as much as I can with what I have left over (about 1.25 sheets).

The material is heavier then I expected, but I agree with you that it is worth it, IMO. Dude... just be careful when you cut the material as it GETS SHARP...

I think that most of the noise comes from the bottom of the car - the floor board.

Let me know what you think.

YUP! Well, I am glad that you finally got a good car... lol. I bought it through Amazon and used the CarToys seller. You should also purchase the roller tool. I think the total was < $150.
