Hi all, Can someone share some information how to use the navigation fuel economy? I have a 06 g35 6mt, specifically the reset button. Is this reset on a daily basis or every time you fill up? Or just how can I use this feature overall?

you can reset it at fill up to monitor how much your fuel consumption is or how many mpg you are getting. It does not reset itself you have to reset it.

If it is not reset then it constantly monitors your speed distance to determine mpg. I usually reset mine on highway traveling just to see how much better mpg I get on the interstate versus in town driving. I get about 17 or 18 mpg in the city and about 24 or 25 mpg on the highway.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the info J. I noticed those numbers move before but not sure if I was using it correctly. good idea i'll try it out city v. freeway on a daily basis or in my case here in L.A. traffic v. non-traffic.

How accurate are these info as far as mileage to empty on the navi screen?

It should be safe to add about 1 gallon (15-20) miles before actually empty. The numbers also **** out and can get deceiving.
