Businesses change names and locations, and go into and out of business.New roadways are created, old ones are widened and/or changed.Names and numbers of roadways are changed.

If your Nav system DVD is over a year old, it is probably out of date, and has lost some of its worth.

Be advised that new updated Nav DVDs are available. They cost $190 EACH!!!! That's right, ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY US DOLLARS!!!

If you are buying a used or last year model Infiniti from a dealer, insist that besides having ALL fluids on used ones changed (flushed, not "serviced"), you get a latest issue Nav DVD.

My new-to-me 2005 Q45 is two years out of date, and it will cost me $190 to update it. I'll wait for the next update before springing for this amount.

You can wend your way through the Infiniti web pages to find the info on the latest version of your Nav DVD.

Is it possible to copy the DVD with a DL-DVD burner? Nothing on ebay?

Perhaps, but you'd have to have the latest one to copy from.Otherwise, there's no alternative but to pay the $190.

I'll check Ebay though.

If anyone else has any ideas, I'm sure they'd be appreciated. I know I'd sure like to avoid laying out $190 for a DVD

The salesman/sales manager can sometimes get the parts department to transfer parts at cost or a little above to the used car department account.

Think about all the new mats, HID bulbs, things you might have to buy after the final transaction.

Of course you do have to pay the $190 after 6-12 months and every year.
