Nav System...is there a way to make my car sound like KITT?

I'd like to make my navigation system sound like KITT from Knight Rider. I think that would be badass and absolutely hilarious. Is there a way to do that?

Who said the H word???? Anyway. In theory, you can in fact make it sound like kitt, but you need to do it one of two ways. Either hack into the nav core programming and stretch the vocals levels to flatten the output untill its close to kitt, or try and get David Hasselhoff to come into your car and talk to the female nav and charm her with his chest hair and suave singing into changing her voice. Neither may yield results, however.

I think I would prefer the option that involves David Hasselhoff in my car and singing to the nav system. That would be highly entertaining.

I would not be surprised. I recall when GPS systems first came out, you could have celebrity voices give you the directions. One of the choices then was Mr. T: "Turn left FOOL!"

it could have to do with the disc - try contacting the company that makes the dvd
