nav. problem

i recently slap a cd on my navi, and it work even tho its burn version , but current location is wrong i used to have 6.1 and i put the 6.6 version. i have 2003 g35 sedan any inputs will help a lot.. thanks

I have a 2004 and recently updated to 6.6 (I think that's right if the newest is 6.7) and I had no problems. However, I did have to put in a software update disc first to update the nav system itself. If you did not do that step it's likely that is where your problem lies. However, I'm new here so I could very well be wrong.

Have you actually driven the car since you did the install? I know mine said I was in L.A., until I drove about 1/8th mile down the street. Then it reported my correct location.
