I have a couple of odd issues with my 05 G35 Sedan. I have the nav package and 2x in the last week the nav panel rises up upon startup then immediately closes and the screen does not display. Turning the car off does not reset or fix it.

Second item happened only once. Using a the spare key fob that might have low battery power...hitting the unlock button did not unlock the doors but made the drivers side window go down about 2 inches. Weird. Never happened again.

The only outside factor is that I just replaced the battery. I've never had any other electrical issues whatsoever.

Any suggestions appreciated before I head to the dealer. Thx Brad

Welcome to NICO!

Those are weird problems...not sure about the NAV. Dealer will have to look at it. Might be expensive if you're out of warranty.

The window going down was caused by a low battery on the fob as you indicated. If you hold the unlock on the FOB, your windows will go down. It sounds like it got hung up on the unlock. Should be easy to replace the battery.

Did you ever get this sorted out?
I have the same problem with my Nav. The screen comes up when I activate it then it goes back down without turning on. At first it would that a dozen times then start working. Now it doesn't. The dealer didn't even look at it and simply said the entire console with the screen will have to be replaced! That's over $2k!
