Is there a non-dealer solution to getting updated Nav maps (2014 Q60s)?

Unfortunately, no. Here.com (formerly called Navteq) provides the Nav maps for all Nissan/Infiniti vehicles. The latest updates for your vehicle can be found here: http://infiniti.navigation.com/product- ... nitiNA/USD

PS..are they "locked" to your VIN ?? (coming from BMW, those were)

It would appear that the answer is yes as the site asks for the VIN & the radio ID as well.
