nav hack tech in atlanta marietta area

hello has anyone found a good affordable nav hack tech in the atlanta marietta georgia area? I have a 07 m35x. I read the nav hack posts It seems if done you lose the nav function? if I get it done is there something I need to tell the tech or is this something he would know how to figure out to keep both working. And does anybody know for sure if its against the law and I can get a ticket if pulled over to have the dvd going while driving in georgia? Ive seen many of dvd players going in the front and back of cars, vans etc. while they are moving.
